Man City v Leicester Betting: James Milner to score anytime in wincast for FA Cup replay

Sven Goran Eriksson returns to the club where he was manager for almost a year when his Leicester City side travel to Manchester City for their FA Cup third round replay on Tuesday night. The match at Eastlands is expected to see Eriksson's former protege Roberto Mancini ring the changes to his side and Paddy Power makes the home side 3/10 favourites in the betting to win the match. Eriksson's Leicester are an outside 8/1 bet to get one over on his former side, and the draw can be backed at 4/1.

Mancini is likely to make several changes to the side that beat Wolves 4-3 in the Premier League on Saturday with Jo, Shay Given, James Milner, David Silva and Joleon Lescott all likely to be given the chance to impress. New signing Edin Dzeko is ineligible for the FA Cup and will miss out. Mancini will be confident that his second string side will have enough about them to progress and they are 1/8 favourites in the betting to qualify with PaddyPower.

The original third round match between Man City and Leicester resulted in an entertaining two-all draw at the Walkers Stadium. The four goals in that match and the seven goals in the game with Wolves are at odds with Man City's performances this season that have often been based on defence first, and a return to normality is likely on Tuesday. Second placed in the Premier League, they have the joint most clean sheets with a total of 11 and a City clean sheet on Tuesday is currently evens and a City win to nil can be backed at 13/10 in the betting.

The incoming James Milner will be keen to impress after failing to shine since his big money move from Aston Villa in the summer. He scored against Leicester in the first match and he looks good at 13/5 in the betting to score anytime on Tuesday with PaddyPower.com. The wincast of Milner to score anytime and Man City to win at 16/5 could be worth a look, especially as Mancini's side have only lost one in sixteen in all competitions and have only lost twice at home all season.

Meanwhile, Sven's Leicester have been poor on the road this term - winning only three and losing nine in the Championship, whilst only managing 15 goals and conceding 31 in 14 games. They shocked Man City by going ahead in the first match at the Walkers and top scorer, with 10 goals, Andy King looks good at 12/1 in the betting to score first. However, they have found themselves behind at half time in 44% of their league matches and could only draw 1-1 with bottom club Preston at the weekend.

They will be hoping to draw on that bit of magic of the FA Cup but realistically the 2-0 Man City win looks a decent bet at 6/1, or the Man City win by two goals is a 3/1 bet with Paddy Power. It is likely to be an unhappy return for Eriksson but for Mancini the FA Cup represents a great opportunity for silverware especially with Notts County lying in wait in the fourth round.
