We're a few weeks without a win and have had some strong stats busted during that period. We've picked out another five matches across all four divisions this week, kicking off with the live game between Arsenal and Spurs on Saturday lunchtime. A fivefold accumulator on the following matches to have both teams scoring pays just under 10/1 with bookmaker Bet365.
Arsenal v Tottenham - Both teams to score @ odds of 4/7 with Bet365
The North London derby kicks off proceedings this weekend, as Arsenal and Spurs do battle at The Emirates in the Premier League. You have to go all the way back to October 2009 and six matches since the last time either of these sides drew a blank in this fixture. In fact, in the six games since Arsenal's 3-0 win that year, this fixture has averaged 4.83 goals and last season this match ended 5-2 in the favour of Arsene Wenger's side. After a solid start to the season, Arsenal's defence has been all at see the last month and they blew a 2-0 lead last weekend at home to Fulham with the match ending up 3-3. Spurs have scored and conceded in all their away matches this season and we expect both teams to score in Saturday's live match.
Stats Breakdown:
Arsenal at home: averaging 2.20 goals scored and 1.20 goals conceded.
Tottenham away: averaging 2.00 scored and 1.60 goals conceded.
Cardiff v Middlesbrough - Both teams to score @ odds of 4/7 with Bet365
We've picked out two games in the Championship this week, generally a happy hunting ground for goals galore backers. We start off near the top of the league as Cardiff take on Middlesbrough. The Welsh side have won all of their home matches so far this season and they've scored at least one goal in each of their last 14 matches. 81% of Cardiff's matches had over 2.5 goals scored in total and Malky Mackay's team have scored at least one goal in 100% of their home matches. Boro on the other hand have been undefeated in their last 8 matches and 69% of their matches this season have had over 2.5 goals scored in total. This could be another goalfest on Saturday and was an easy pick for our accumulator.
Stats Breakdown:
Cardiff at home: averaging 2.38 goals scored and 0.63 goals conceded.
Middlesbrough away: averaging 1.38 scored and 1.38 goals conceded.
Millwall v Leeds - Both teams to score @ odds of 8/13 with Bet365
Sunday's live game in the Championship sees Millwall and Leeds go head to head at the New Den. Kenny Jackett's Millwall side have been undefeated in their last 9 matches and 75% of their matches have had over 2.5 goals scored in total. Millwall conceded at least one goal in 88% of their home matches, whilst Leeds have conceded at least one goal in all of their away matches this season. Neil Warnock's side are averaging 1.50 goals on their travels and they've scored at least one goal in 88% of their away matches, which makes this match another good pick for the acca.
Stats Breakdown:
Millwall at home: averaging 1.88 goals scored and 1.50 goals conceded.
Leeds away: averaging 1.50 scored and 1.63 goals conceded.
Colchester v Bury - Both teams to score @ odds of 4/6 with Bet365
Moving down to League One, fourteenth place Colchester take on Bury who are languishing in 22nd. The Lancashire side struggle to keep a clean sheet on the road conceding in all their league matches away from Gigg Lane this season. Peter Shirtliff's side do know where the goal is however, scoring at least one goal in each of their last 7 matches and finding the net in 88% of their away matches. Colchester are odds on to take the points, but we think this game will see some goals and it's the stand out fixture in League One for both teams to score betting.
Stats Breakdown:
Colchester at home: averaging 1.38 goals scored and 1.13 goals conceded.
Bury away: averaging 1.38 scored and 2.00 goals conceded.
Burton Albion v Dagenham & Redbridge - Both teams to score @ odds of 8/13 with Bet365
Finally, Burton Albion take on Dagenham & Redbridge on Saturday afternoon at the Pirelli Stadium. Gary Rowett's side currently sit seventh in League Two, but just four points clear of Dagenham who are down in fourteenth. Albion have scored 76% of their goals at home, averaging 2.38 goals per game in the process. Add to that Dagenham's habit of scoring and conceding on their travels (conceding at least one goal in every game and scoring at least one goal in 88% matches), we're hopeful that this match will oblige in the both teams to score accumulator.
Stats Breakdown:
Burton at home: averaging 2.38 goals scored and 1.13 goals conceded.
Dagenham away: averaging 1.63 goals scored and 2.00 goals conceded.
A £10 accumulator on both teams to score in the above matches returns £107.40 when betting with Bet365.com.
