Copa America Quarter Final Odds: Argentina favourites to beat Uruguay

The 2011 Copa America has reached the quarter-final stage and hosts Argentina remain tournament favourites at odds of 6/5 despite struggling through the group phase. Brazil also had their problems and are priced second favourites at 13/5, with Chile the best of the rest at 5/1 according to Paddy Power, who will be streaming Saturday and Sunday's matches live on their website.....

Colombia v Peru (Saturday)

The first quarter-final takes place on Saturday evening and Colombia are 4/6 odds on favourites to reach the last four, with Peru priced 9/2. Colombia's Falcao is favourite to be the tournament's top scorer after notching two goals already and he is a tempting 4/1 to be first goalscorer this weekend. Furthermore, the Colombians have lost just once in five and have kept four clean sheets in their last five matches, with a clean sheet on Saturday 10/11 on. Peru meanwhile have failed to score in five of their last six and have only won two of their last eight - their only win in the group stage came against a very poor Mexico side and it is difficult to see them progressing.

Tip#1: Falcao to score first @ 4/1 with PaddyPower
Tip#2: Colombia to keep a clean sheet @ 10/11 with PaddyPower

Argentina v Uruguay (Saturday)

Tournament hosts and favourites Argentina qualified by winning one and drawing two of their group matches, as did Uruguay, who had been well fancied pre-tournament. It was a surprise that they struggled so badly, although Sergio Aguero continues to boost his reputation for the hosts as he scored three to make it four in his last four internationals, and he looks great value at 4/1 to be first scorer. Argentina are 8/13 on to win the match and they should do just that against a Uruguay side who have won just three of their last nine matches since impressing in last year's World Cup, and the correct score of 2-1 to the hosts could be a decent punt at 7/1.

Tip#1: Sergio Aguero to be first goalscorer @ 4/1 with PaddyPower.com
Tip#2: Argentina to win 2-1 @ 7/1 with PaddyPower

Brazil v Paraguay (Sunday)

In the first of Sunday quarter-finals, Brazil and Paraguay meet for the second time after they drew 2-2 in the group stage. Brazil secured their qualification with an edgy 4-2 win over Ecuador to extend their unbeaten run to six matches and we fancy they should turn on the style this weekend. Chelsea target Neymar is available at odds of 4/1 to score first and there could be goals in store after Paraguay's last two matches yielded ten goals. Over 2.5 goals can be backed at 11/10, and ultimately we fancy Brazil (8/13) to beat a Paraguay side that have won only two of their last seven matches.

Tip#1: Over 2.5 goals @ 11/10 with PaddyPower
Tip#2: Neymar to score first @ 4/1 with PaddyPower

Chile v Venezuela (Sunday)

Chile have been the surprise package of the tournament so far and they look well set to make it to the semi-finals as they start as 4/6 favourites for Sunday's match. They are now unbeaten in eight matches, and six of those have involved under 2.5 goals, with under 2.5 4/6 on this weekend. 9/2 punt Venezuela are not to be underestimated though after they drew 0-0 with Brazil in their group match, but one win in four suggests Chile should have the beating of them and the correct score of 2-0 looks good at 6/1.

Tip#1: Chile to win the match @ 4/6 with PaddyPower
Tip#2: Chile to win 2-0 @ 6/1 with PaddyPower
