Man Utd v Marseille Betting: United odds on to win second leg at Old Trafford

It has been a month of ups and downs for Sir Alex Ferguson’s Manchester United side as the side have stalled in their race to win the Premier League, having suffered defeats in the league by Liverpool and Chelsea which has resulted in Arsenal closing the gap on the league leaders to just 3 points. There has also been the incident of the Ferguson's complaint against ref Martin Atkinson and then choosing to ignoring the media. However, Manchester United managed to dismiss Arsenal in the sixth round of the FA Cup at the weekend and they now face rivals Manchester City in the semi final in April a match in which they are favourites to win.

United are still on track to progress from the round of sixteen in the Champions League and will join the already qualified Tottenham Hotspur in the quarter finals draw on Friday, if they beat Marseille on Tuesday evening. The first round at Marseille was an uninspiring goal less draw in a game that no team looked like winning, but with the team being boosted following the impressive win over Arsenal, messers Rooney and Berbatov will hopefully set the field alight at Old Trafford in front of a sell out crowd.
