Besiktas v Stoke Betting: Tempting odds for a draw in Turkey

Top spot in Group E of the Europa League is at stake when Besiktas welcome Stoke to the Inonu Stadium on Wednesday evening. Stoke are already certain of qualifying for the knockout stages and are 3/1 in the betting to win the final group match with Boylesports, while Besiktas, who are 10/11 to win, need a draw to qualify and that can be backed at a best priced 5/2.

Stoke currently sit top of Group E on 11 points and are into the knockout stages, although Besiktas can pip them to top spot with a win as they are two points behind the Potters. However, the Turkish side are only three points ahead of Dynamo Kiev, who are third, and cannot afford to lose this week.

Besiktas have been in good form of late as they are unbeaten in their last six matches and are sitting in third place in the Turkish Super League. They will have to do without the inspirational Ricardo Quaresma, who is injured this week, and he is a huge loss.

Stoke have taken to European football impressively and Tony Pulis's men have been excellent of late. The 2-1 win over Spurs at the weekend lifted them up to eighth in the Premier League, although with qualification guaranteed in Europe this week Pulis could opt to rest key players.

Peter Crouch will be hoping for a start though as he has scored five goals in his last seven Europa League appearances and he is an industry best priced 8/1 to score first. Although with Besiktas's penchant for scoring first, it could be worth a look at Crouch to score last at 8/1 or anytime at 13/5.

Stoke have scored in each of their last five Europa League ties and both teams to score can be backed at 10/11 with Boyles. Meanwhile, three of Stoke's last four away matches have involved over 2.5 and that can be backed at a tempting 11/10, although both teams would be happy with a draw on Wednesday and the correct score of 1-1 is an 11/2 punt.
