Swansea v Arsenal Odds: Welsh side could upset the betting

The live Sunday afternoon match sees Swansea welcome Arsenal to the Liberty Stadium and the Welsh side look to offer plenty of value in the latest odds. Brendan Rodgers' men have been formidable at home and they can be backed at industry best priced odds of 4/1 with Ladbrokes, while the draw is 13/5 and Arsenal are 7/10 on with Ladbrokes.

It seems a surprisingly big price for the Swans as they continue to impress on their debut season in the Premier League. It is at home where they have produced their best performances and they will be buoyed by consecutive away wins in their last two matches.

Their 2-0 win at Aston Villa was their first away victory of the season and they followed that up with a 4-2 win at Barnsley in the FA Cup. They will be looking to maintain that sort of form as they bid to enhance their fine record of having lost only one league game in ten at the Liberty Stadium this term, with that defeat coming in the form of an unfortunate 1-0 loss to Manchester United.

Swansea have only conceded four goals at home in the league and they can be backed at a tempting 4/1 to keep a clean sheet with Ladbrokes. The win to nil also looks to offer  value at 13/2, particularly with Arsenal so inconsistent away from home. It hasn't been all about defence and Danny Graham could be worth a look to score first at 8/1 after scoring three in his last four to take his tally to eight for the season.

It could be a low scoring affair on Sunday though as eight of Swansea's ten at home have involved under 2.5 goals, with under 2.5 available at 5/6. Apart from Robin Van Persie, Arsenal have struggled to find a regular scorer this season and the Dutchman is 11/4 favourite to score first after notching 17 of Arsenal's 36 league goals.

Arsene Wenger has of course brought in Thierry Henry and the Frenchman made an immediate impact with the winner in the 1-0 FA Cup victory over Leeds on Monday. Henry is 4/1 favourite to score first this weekend, although Ladbrokes offer a host of other markets as all eyes are likely to be on the Gunners legend.

Ladbrokes.com offer 7/2 for Henry to come off the bench and score on Sunday, 4/1 for him to score and hug Wenger, while he is 8/1 to score and do his 'statue' slide celebration. They also offer 16/1 for Henry to score a backheel and a huge 25/1 for a Henry hat trick.

However, Wenger might be more concerned with his defence as Thomas Vermaelen is a doubt for a side that has kept just two clean sheets away from home in the league this term. They have conceded 22 away from the Emirates and their away form has been pretty average - they have lost five, including two of the last three.

The Gunners have been infuriatingly inconsistent in drawing with Wolves and losing to Fulham recently and despite winning 1-0 in the Arsenal v Swansea game earlier this season, Swansea look good value to gain revenge on home soil.
