Tottenham v Arsenal Odds: Wenger's team favourites to beat local rivals

Tottenham Hotspur play Arsenal on Wednesday night at White Hart Lane in one of the season's most hotly contested derby matches. Before this weekend, things were looking good for Spurs, with Arsenal crashing out of Europe and losing key players to injury. Spurs are having a good season but the FA Cup semi-final loss on Sunday must have come as a big blow to the players. Add to that the fact that most of the team who will line up on Wednesday plyed 120 minutes of football on a dreadful Wembley surface just three days earlier and it is clear to see why the bookmakers fancy Arsenal for this one, even before we get to the Gunners fantastic record versus their local rivals.

The last time Tottenham beat Arsenal in the league was November 1999, so the omens don't look good for Spurs. Spurs on the other hand are four points behind Manchester City with a game in hand and are second favourite at odds of 10/3 with Bet 365 to finish fourth and grab that last Champions League spot.

The head to head between these two sides doesn't make pretty reading for Spurs, who haven't recorded a win for ten years. There have been two draws in their last three matches at White Hart Lane however and they dominated this fixture last year, after Emmanuel Eboue was sent off for the visitors.
