  • Reading lost 9 of their 10 matches at top-eleven teams in the league
  • Reading have lost all 5 of their previous play-off ties

Home And Away

The two teams go into this tie in great form having enjoyed something of a renaissance this season, with Fulham finishing sixth - a full 29 points better off than last term - thanks to a fine end to the campaign that saw them lose just two of their final fifteen games (won nine, drawn four).

The Cottagers are 6/10 favourites (Betfair) for Saturday's game but their ten home wins is the lowest of any side that finished in the top-thirteen of the table and they look very skinny at that price.

As for Reading, they ended the season in third - 33 points better off than last term - and have won seven of their past nine outings (lost two), although a return of ten wins from 23 away games leaves plenty to be desired.
Match Odds:

Goals Galore

The Royals have flopped in virtually all of the big games on the road this season as they lost nine of their ten matches at fellow top-eleven teams, conceding 32 goals in the process, and they rarely enjoy visiting Craven Cottage.

Reading have lost their last three matches at Fulham after they were hammered 5-0 in December and over 2.5 goals looks like a decent bet for odds on backers (4/6 with Paddy Power) this weekend.

Indeed, the last six Championship meetings between these teams have witnessed a grand total of 22 goals and there is rarely any shortage of entertainment when Fulham are involved.

Slavisa Jokanovic's men were the joint-top scorers in the Championship with 85 goals but they do struggle to keep the opposition out, with both teams scoring in thirteen of their final fifteen games of the season (both teams to score @ 4/6 with PaddyPower.com).

It is tricky to pick a winner at Craven Cottage but goals do appear to be on the menu.
