Tottenham v AC Milan Betting: Odds predict a win and a quarter final place for Spurs

Tottenham continue their European adventure on Wednesday night when they welcome AC Milan to White Hart Lane for the second leg of their last sixteen Champions League tie. Spurs hold a crucial 1-0 advantage from a controversial first leg at the San Siro and are an industry best of 5/4 to win the match with Bet 365. Milan are an 11/5 punt in the betting, while the draw is available at 12/5 for what looks set to be tense affair.

Harry Redknapp's side won the first leg thanks to a Peter Crouch strike and are 2/7 on to qualify for the quarter-finals, but Milan cannot be underestimated and are available at 5/2 to progress. They will obviously need to score at White Hart Lane, although it doesn't look good for a side that are the joint lowest scorers left in the Champions League, scoring just seven this term.

They do however boast a wealth of attacking talent in Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Robinho, but it is Alexandre Pato who impressed as a substitute at the San Siro and the 11 goal Brazilian could be worth a punt at 7/1 to be first goalscorer or 11/5 in the betting to score anytime with Bet 365.com.

The Italian side have failed to win their last six matches against English sides and have won only one of their last 14 fixtures on English soil. It could be worth backing Spurs to edge a nervy affair by a one goal margin at 10/3 with Bet 365, and the correct scoreline of 2-1 to Spurs could provide value at 8/1 as the Champions League debutants look to continue their impressive progress.
