Euro 2012 Draw will make England Odds on to Qualify

Fabio Capello's England have been drawn with Wales in an eminently winnable Group G for the Euro 2012 qualifying campiagn beginning in September. England are a 8/1 chance to win Euro 2012 with bookmaker bet365, but will have to come through qualification which also includes Switzerland, Bulgaria and Montenegro.

The draw consisted of nine groups, six of which were made up of six teams whilst the other three were made up of just five teams. Each of the group winners will automatically qualify for the finals in Poland and the Ukraine, along with the best runner-up. The remaining eight runners-up will have to make it through a play-off to get the the finals.

Northern Ireland face a tough task in Group C, having been drawn against three 2010 World Cup qualifiers in Italy, Serbia and Slovenia. The Republic of Ireland however will fancy their chances in Group B, having been drawn against the higher seeds Slovakia and Russia.
