Everton v Hull Betting Offers Great Value For a Tigers Away Win

This Everton v Hull Premier League game at Goodison Park this weekend is clearly a more crucial affair for the visitors than it is for the hosts. With Everton safe and now well clear of the relegation area the pressure is on Phil Brown and his team to produce a performance that wins them at least a point from the game.

The Bookmakers do not rate their chances too highly however, with Bet365 for example quoting them at 9/1 to win the match, they also quote them at 7/2 to earn themselves a draw, and make the Toffees 4/11 odds on to win.

Hull of course are in deep relegation trouble, but they will know that they are not alone and that the teams who survive this season will be the teams who can pinch a point or two from games such as this, in many respects therefore a draw for Hull is almost as good as a win.

2010 Premier League Relegation Betting

The two sides in fact have met twice already this season, with Everton handing out a 4-0 thrashing to the Tigers back in September in the Carling Cup first round. However, Hull won 3-2 in the Premier League clash between the two at the KC Stadium in November where they had to survive a massive Everton comeback in the second half to secure the points. Based on those two matches therefore, Hull are clearly not without their chances in this match and could easily cause a surprise.

The easy forecast to make for this match is an Everton win, but we think that Hull are worth supporting to earn themselves a draw. On their day they can stifle the opposition and with Everton not really having anything left to play for this season, they might be too relaxed. We predict a draw therefore and would back a scoreline of 1-1 with odds of 8/1, we would also, should he play of course, back Louis Saha at 10/3 to score the first goal of the game; these odds are available from Bet365
