The Champions League is the premier European competition and Real Madrid are reigning champions after they beat their Spanish compatriots Atletico Madrid in the final in Portugal last season.

The Europa League is the name of the old UEFA Cup and takes up a similar format to the Champions League. Sevilla beat Benfica on penalties in the final in Turin last season but the betting is likely to be tight for the 2014/15 competition.

The SPL is usually a two-horse race but with Rangers being demoted it is their bitter rivals Celtic who are massive odds on favourites for the title. It is up to the other clubs to challenge the defending champions and close the gap at the top in 2014/15.
Satellite television enables us to keep a close eye on La Liga with at least two matches screened live every weekend. Atletico Madrid were surprise winners last season but the betting is sure to be tight for the 2014/15 Spanish title as Real Madrid and Barcelona bid to mount a challenge.
Juventus won the Serie A title last season as they cruised to the title. Juventus, alongside the likes of AC Milan, Inter Milan and Roma, are likely to be fighting it out at the head of the betting for the 2014/15 season.
