The Premier League Darts season moves on to the Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield on Thursday night as the players gear up for week ten of action. Gary Anderson put himself right back in the mixer to win the tournament with a win over Terry Jenkins in Aberdeen last week and is now 4/1 to be outright winner with Victor Chandler. Meanwhile Simon Whitlock is priced 7/1 but Phil Taylor remains the man to beat at 8/15 on.....
James Wade v Simon Whitlock
Australian Simon Whitlock is a man in form as his epic 8-5 win over Raymond Van Barneveld last week extended his winning run to three matches. He won one of the great Premier League matches as he threw eight 180s - the most in any PL match this season - and averaged a brilliant 107.93. Whitlock now sits third in the table and is 5/6 on to beat Wade this week, although Wade himself is beginning to turn his season around after a difficult start. 2009 Champion Wade beat Adrian Lewis 8-3 for only his third win of the season and he is 2/1 to earn his fourth victory of the campaign, but we fancy Whitlock has a bit too much quality at this stage and the 8-5 correct score looks tempting at 17/2 in the betting.

Mark Webster v Gary Anderson
Gary Anderson continues to look like the most obvious challenger to Phil Taylor's crown after he destroyed Terry Jenkins 8-3 in front if his home Scottish crowd last week. He averaged 101.25 in the match and threw seven 180s, and in doing so he only allowed Jenkins six opportunities to check out in the match. He is a big favourite with VCBet to beat Mark Webster this week at 2/7 and it is no surprise as Webster props up the table with four points, although Webster is available at an industry best of 5/1 in the match betting. Webster was soundly beaten 8-1 by Taylor last week and only had six opportunities to check out himself. Anderson should win this one comfortably and the 8-3 scoreline could provide value at 7/1.

Terry Jenkins v Phil Taylor
Phil Taylor continued his march to retain his Premier League title and he looks well set to qualify for the play-offs as he tops the table after winning eight matches in a row. He destroyed Mark Webster last week in averaging 107.07 and he looks to face a similarly easy ride this week in Sheffield. He is a huge 1/7 on to beat Terry Jenkins, who is available at an industry best of 12/1 with VCBet. It is difficult to look anywhere else than a Taylor win and quite possibly a romp, with the correct score of 8-2 priced 5/1 or the 8-0 and a first whitewash of the season could provide interest at a tempting 18/1 this week.

Raymond van Barneveld v Adrian Lewis
The finale to Thursday night's action sees Raymond Van Barneveld take on World Championship winner Adrian Lewis. Van Barneveld will be keen to return to form quickly after losing his last two matches on the trot, albeit to two in-form players in Phil Taylor and Simon Whitlock. The Dutchman certainly played his part in an epic 8-5 loss to Whitlock as he averaged an astonishing 104.54 in defeat and we fancy he could well overcome Lewis this week. Lewis has been up and down all season and if van Barneveld touches the heights of last week he should win and can be backed at an industry best of 13/10 in the betting with Victor Chandler.
