England stumble to Kolkata for the fifth one-day international match against India on Tuesday. The Indians are 4-0 up in the series and are bidding for a stunning whitewash in the final match at Eden Gardens, with William Hill making them the 8/15 odds on favourites, while England are available at industry best priced odds of 6/4.
It is tough to see England recovering from their most recent humbling as India cruised to victory with six wickets and ten overs to spare in the fourth ODI at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday. England's inability to play spin has been harshly highlighted so far and things don't look like getting any easier in Kolkata.
The conditions at Eden Gardens are expected to be low and slow, with spinner Ravichandran Ashwin 11/4 favourite to be top Indian wicket taker. It is a pitch where batsmen traditionally flourish though as India chased down 315 to beat Sri Lanka in the last ODI there and the odds of 6/4 for a century to be scored in Tuesday's match could be worth a punt.
Virat Kohli will have happy memories of the ground as he hit 107 in the win over Sri Lanka and his form during the series has been scintillating. Kohli has scored 37, 112, 35 and 86 in the series so far and he can be backed at 7/2 to be top Indian batsman again, although Suresh Raina (9/2) will be hoping to challenge him for that title.
England will be hoping India's poor record at Eden Gardens counts for something as India have won only one of the past four completed ODIs there.
England have scored over 250 runs in an innings only once all series, although Craig Kieswetter did get them off to a flyer in the last match and England can be backed to have a higher score than India after 15 overs at 5/6 with WilliamHill.com.
However, England's batsmen have failed to kick on so far and the stage is set for Kevin Pietersen to finally convert an innings into a big score. Pietersen has been in the runs but has yet to score a century, with Hills offering 6/1 that he scores a hundred on Tuesday and a tempting 4/1 for him to be top England batsman.
Meanwhile, Steve Finn has bowled with impressive pace and is 3/1 to be top wicket taker, with conditions like to suit spin it could be worth a look at Graeme Swann (11/4) or Scott Borthwick (4/1) in that market.
It is tough to see anything other than a win for India in Kolkata and a demoralised England could well be sent home with a 5-0 defeat to their names and with plenty of work to do in the one-day form of the game.
