Twenty20 Cup Quarter Final Odds: Somerset Favourites to go One Better

2009 Twenty20 Cup runners up, Somerset Sabres have been installed as favourites to win the tournament in 2010 now that it has reached the Quarter Finals stage. They are quoted at 7/2 to win by Bet365, while next best in the betting comes the Nottinghamshire Outlaws at 4/1.

The Quarter finals will be played over two days on the 26th and 27th July, where the Sabres will play Northampton Steelbacks, while the Outlaws take on defending champions, Sussex Sharks. The full Quarter Final Draw, with betting odds in brackets, is as follows:

Twenty20 Cup Quarter Finals Odds Comparison

Somerset qualified for the Quarter finals by virtue of winning the Southern Twenty20 Group, securing the top spot by winning 11 of their 16 games, thus finishing with 22 points. The win has of course earned them a home tie in the Quarters. Runners up in the Southern Group were Essex Eagles, who finished just two points adrift and who will also be at home against Lancashire Lightning.
