England and Pakistan go head to head once again in the second of two T20 Internationals in Cardiff on Tuesday with England hot favourites to win the match and claim the series 2-0. Paddy Powerhas England at 4/9 odds on with Pakistan available at 7/4, which is not bad value considering that they are more than capable of winning this.

Neither side batted with confidence on this Cardiff pitch the other day, the wicket was slow and offered plenty of turn for the spinners. In fact it was one of those rare T20 matches where not a single six was scored which is why the scoring was below average.
Notwithstanding, England are unlikely to make any changes to the team, meaning that plenty of reliance will be placed on the shoulders of Graeme Swann and Michael Yardy to take the wickets. Swann in fact is 5/2 favourite in the Top England bowler market, while Yardy looks outstanding value at 5/1 with Paddy Power to beat Swann to it.
As far as Top England batsman is concerned, favouritism rests jointly with Craig Kieswetter, Ravi Bopara (Our Tip) and Eoin Morgan who are all at 4/1, while opener, Stephen Davies is at 9/2 and captain Paul Collingwood, who could do with a decent knock is at 11/2. Interestingly, Yardy, who second top scored in the first match in his excellent match winning partnership with Morgan is a fantastic value bet at 16/1 with Victor Chandler.
Shahid ‘boom boom’ Afridi, who took two England wickets in the first game is 3/1 joint favourite to be top Pakistan bowler in this match along with T20 specialist, Umar Gul. Afridi , who threatened with the bat just briefly in the first match could be the value bet at 13/2 to be Pakistan’s top batsman too, although Umar Akmal who did top score is likely to moved up the order giving him more crease time and is a good bet therefore to top score again.

It is easy to say that England, who after all are the reigning T20 world champions, will win the match, but T20 is a fickle game where it just takes one big innings or one good bowling spell and the game can easily swing either way. Both teams have match winners at their disposal, which to us means that the visitors are the better value bet.
