£1 Million Brit Winner

Another online poker punter businessman Paul Maxfield from Stoke-On-Trent gave the online poker firms a big shot in the arm by winning a cool £1 million at the World Poker Tour Championships in Las Vegas.

Paul who orginally won £8,000 playing poker on the internet which gave him the confidence to head off to the capital of poker, went on to win entry to the big tounament at the Ballagio Hotel the venue for the famous movie Oceans Eleven, the next step was the World Championships.

Paul then went on to beat the Vietnamese-American Tuan Le in a seven hour marathon to pick up this top prize.

Paul has now his sites set on the big one the World Poker Series to try and collect the staggering $5 million first prize.
