British Casinos - Fair Play

Any avid casino follower will know that any visit to casinos is a most novel experience. When going to Vegas you will be subject to all the glitz and glitter and of course some of the tactics used by the operators to ensure you say as long as possible at the tables. Novel approaches are evident with the absence of clocks and daylight so punters get lost in time.

For the high rollers, free meals and drinks are the usual complementary tokens offered and if you are a regular you may even find rooms provided at no expense.

With legislation in UK such tactics will be watched very closely and any casino operating manipulating concepts will be banned. The Government wants to introduce safeguards against Las Vegas-style manipulation in Britain’s eight super-casinos. British Culture Secretary, Tessa Jowell has expressed disdain at these policies and claims she will not be allowing them at the new casinos on British soil.

Some of the safeguards that will be in operation will be, alcohol to be banned from gaming tables, and the new casinos will not be able to use incentive schemes like free hotel stays, hotel upgrades and meals that may encourage problem gambling.
