The NFL season is drawing to a close and week 13's live match sees Houston Texans at Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday night. The Houston Texans are a more than capable team though and in Arian Foster, they have the league's leading Running Back in both yards and touchdowns and the Eagles defense will have their work cut out to stop the threat Foster poses. Texans QB, Matt Schaub, has not been as effective as he was last season when he led the NFL in passing yards but is still capable of making big plays. Schaub with Wide Receiver Andre Johnson could hurt the Eagles defense and this game could be closer than the bookmakers predict.

Houston are currently 5-6 and if they are to make the American Football play offs, there is little margin for error in their final five games and a win over Philadelphia is a must. When they have been beaten, it hasn't been by big margins and given the offensive weapons they posses, they should be capable of keeping within eight points of the home team. Whether they can win remains to be seen given they have lost despite being in winning positions in three of their last four games, the one game they didn't lose in that streak was at home to Tennessee on Sunday when they won 20-0.
